The strategic significance of the Belt and the Road Initiative, it’s reach, investment and infrastructure projects as well as the possibilities of Serbian-Chinese cooperation within the Fourth industrial revolution, were the topics of the third international conference Belgrade Strategic Dialogue – The Belt and Road Initiative in the Balkans that was held on December 10th.
Gordana Danilović Grković, acting director of STP Belgrade participated in the panel about the cooperation between two countries within the fourth industrial revolution. The panel emphasized that Serbia can learn a lot about this process from China, how important for us is to be ready to accept changes and that innovations are one of the key factors for the development in the region.
Other panel participants were Tatjana Matić, State Secretary of the Ministry of trade, tourism and telecommunications, Mihailo Vesović, advisor to the president the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Gao Chao, Manager of international department, Lanzhou Guangdong New Energy, Milan Aleksijevic, assistant general manager at Telekom Srbija and Srećko Miodragović, Comtrade group.
The conference was also attended by Prime Minister of Serbia Ana Brnabić and Ambassador of China to Serbia Li Mangang.
