Graduates of the high school Laza Kostic from Novi Sad visited the Science Technology Park Belgrade on Friday, 8th March, having learned about the development and activities of the Science Technology Park in Zvezdara. Already on arrival, high school students could see the innovative Strawberry smart bench, urban hardware solution of the Strawberry Energy, company operating in the Park, designed for the cities of the future, powered by solar energy.
Representatives of the STP Belgrade gave a brief presentation of the services provided by Science Technology Park to start-ups and growing companies, the programs implementing and the innovations that are developing here.
The graduates also introduced representatives of the start-up UrbiGo, that develops smart indoor gardens, and Gimatic – operating in the field of industrial robotics. They presented their innovative solutions and products, and shared with scholars how to endure in their ideas and how to turn those ideas into specific products.
The graduates visited the Innovative Laboratory of STP Belgrade, where 3D printers are located – a modern technology for the production of three-dimensional objects. They have been presented with a way to use them, the benefits of using them, and the demonstration of several printed models.
The impressions of the Novi Sad graduates were extremely positive, encouraged with knowledge about technological entrepreneurship and the opportunity to meet young engineers who successfully work and develop their companies.
The visit of high school from Novi Sad was realized within the initiative of the Science Technology Park Belgrade to include the program of the visits to STP Belgrade to the list of destinations that can be visited by pupils of elementary and secondary schools during organized excursions to the Serbian capital.
