A new European Hub for Digital Innovation
Capital Innovation Point Serbia (CIPS) is a new European centre for digital innovation created to accelerate digitalization and technological development in Serbia. Focused on supporting startups, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), and public sector organizations, CIPS provides additional support for developing innovative solutions and stimulates growth through digital transformation.
New EDIH in Serbia – a hub to support accelerated development
The new European digital innovation hub, Capital Innovation Point Serbia (CIPS), is part of the European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIH) network. It is focused on supporting companies, especially startups and small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), as well as public organizations, to improve their digital capacities through tailored programs, access to modern technologies, and expertise.
CIPS operates as a network/hub with Science Technology Park Belgrade (STP Belgrade) as the project coordinator and partners NALED, Science Technology Park Novi Sad (STP Novi Sad), Data Cloud Technology and the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad.
The new network enables startups and innovative companies to secure support for faster growth through specific tools, programs and activities, including:
- Technology product testing and development – support in solving particular technical challenges through testing, product development and innovative approaches
- Knowledge and skills development – through training and programs to improve the capacity of teams and individuals
- Access to financing and increasing competitiveness – through connecting with key stakeholders and having access to financial resources.
Special attention in the project will be in areas such as high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, advanced digital skills, automation and robotics, with applications in the BioTech, MedTech, AgriTech, Green Tech, transport and services sectors.
Access to the European Innovation Network
CIPS offers local support and allows users from Serbia direct access to resources and knowledge available across the entire EDIH network. This makes finding the support and resources you need easier anywhere in Europe.
