The next destination on our mission to help startups explore new global markets is the United States of America! This October, we’re taking one representative from up to three startups from our ecosystem on a study trip to San Francisco, where they’ll attend the prestigious TechCrunch Disrupt 2025—a global gathering of over 10,000 founders, investors, and tech leaders.

TechCrunch Disrupt 2025 will take place from October 27 to 29.
The trip is organised by Science and Technology Park Belgrade as part of the Program for Promotion and Popularisation of Innovation, supported by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation of Serbia.

Note: Startups are responsible for covering the costs of U.S. visa applications and handling the visa process themselves if the selected participant does not already hold a valid visa.

Who can apply?
Eligible applicants are micro companies that:

• Are developing an innovative product (digital/software, electronic/hardware, or physical), with ambitions to scale globally—especially toward the U.S. market
• Have already generated revenue from the product they’re applying with
• Have raised at least $100K in external funding (from VCs or angel investors)
• Are majority-owned by Serbian founders (at least 70% founder ownership unless diluted by prior investment rounds)
• Are not under legal sanctions or prohibition from operating
• Fully own their intellectual property/technology
• Are less than 10 years old

Solutions from any scientific, technological, or industry vertical are welcome. However, scalable software products will have an edge in the selection process.

Selection Criteria

Startups will be evaluated based on:

• Team experience and expertise
• Market position and business model (scalability potential)
• Traction and future plans (investment readiness, milestones)
• Quality of the pitch deck
• Relevance and expected impact of the trip on the startup’s growth

• A completed application form
• A pitch deck (max 15 slides) uploaded via a shareable link in the form

• Immediate start of the visa application process upon acceptance
• Full commitment to innovation and scaling
• Participation in all required activities, including mandatory presence at the conference
• Proactive engagement and promotion of the support received
• Entry into full or virtual membership at STP Belgrade (subject to availability and decision by STP)
