Applications for InnovNation Competition Serbia Open –  9.2 Million RSD for the Best Tech Innovations in Serbia

The Science  Technology Park Belgrade has opened applications for InnovNation Competition Serbia, the country’s largest national competition for youth-driven technological innovations. The initiative is supported by the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation and partners from the innovation ecosystem.

The competition encourages high school students, university students, and early-stage startups from across Serbia to develop innovative ideas and turn them into sustainable solutions. The best teams will receive financial support for further development, with a total prize fund of 9.2 million RSD.

The application deadline is October 31, 2025. The official call can be downloaded HERE.

Eligible participants include:

  • High school teams – minimum 2 students, supported by an adult, with an innovative idea

  • University teams – minimum 2 members with an innovative idea

  • Early-stage startups, including:

    • A startup team in the early phase actively developing an innovative business idea with a scalable model (minimum 2 members)

    • A startup company no older than 2 years at the time of the call, with proof of concept, MVP, or prototype, majority-owned by Serbian founders

Selected teams will participate in business development trainings and workshops, learning from experts in the innovation ecosystem how to test, shape, and prepare their ideas for the market. Every team will receive support from an advisory board and access to the inspiring environment of STP Belgrade.

In the final phase, teams will present their ideas to a professional jury and potential investors. The best teams will receive financial support and secure a crucial next step in development.

Selection criteria include innovation, applicability and sustainability, team commitment, and originality in problem-solving.

InnovNation Competition Serbia aims to inspire innovative and entrepreneurial thinking among young people, connect them with key ecosystem actors, and support them in the first critical steps of developing their ideas.
