Raising Starts Alumni Next Stop: PODIM 2026 is an initiative to support Raising Starts alumni in their growth, internationalisation, and connections with investors and strategic partners. The initiative is implemented by the Science Technology Park Belgrade, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network, as well as the Government of Switzerland and the project “Technopark Serbia 3 – Innovate Forward,” to provide selected teams with access to one of the most relevant startup events in the region – PODIM, which will take place from May 11 to 13.

Objectives of attending PODIM
The initiative will provide up to 3 Raising Starts alumni with the opportunity to attend the PODIM 2026 conference, meet the startup and investment ecosystem of the CEE region, present their product to relevant stakeholders, and connect with potential investors, partners, and clients.

This is also an opportunity to strengthen cooperation within the innovation ecosystem of the CEE region, which represents one of the fastest-growing markets in Europe.

Selected startups will have the opportunity to:
• participate in the PODIM 2026 conference
• connect with investors, partners, and founders through pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings
• meet key stakeholders of the startup and investment ecosystem of the CEE region and open new opportunities for business development in that market

Who can apply?
The call is open to Raising Starts alumni who meet the following criteria:
• are majority Serbian-owned, with at least 70% of the company owned by founders as individuals
• have up to 50 employees, i.e. fall under the category of micro or small enterprises
• generate revenue from the sale of innovative products

Selection criteria and process
Startups will be evaluated based on:
• team experience and expertise
• market position and business model (scalability potential)
• previous results and plans (traction, investment readiness, etc.)
• significance of the Raising Starts Alumni Next Stop: PODIM 2026 study visit for further startup development

Obligations of selected startups
• commitment to the development of innovation
• proactive approach during the visit
• promotion of the received support

Startups that meet the participation criteria are invited to apply by filling out the application form.

The application is in English and consists of completing a short application form.
