The leadership of the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences (FON) and Science Technology Park Belgrade met today to discuss the establishment of a strategic partnership aimed at strengthening the innovation ecosystem and creating new opportunities for the academic, business, and startup communities.

The meeting focused on opportunities for developing joint initiatives and support programs that would foster stronger connections between academia and industry while providing additional support for early-stage startup teams.

Key topics included the development of the innovation ecosystem, the creation of joint support programs for early-stage startups, and the exchange of knowledge, experience, and resources between academia and the private sector.

Serbia has strong foundations for further innovation-driven growth, supported by talented individuals, a growing startup ecosystem, and institutions that actively encourage technological development through dedicated support mechanisms. Strengthening collaboration among these stakeholders is an important step toward building a more connected and impactful innovation ecosystem.

Representatives of both institutions expressed their confidence that future cooperation will contribute to the development of innovation and entrepreneurship while creating new opportunities for young talents, researchers, and technology companies.
