With the support of Desing llc and Science and Technology Park Belgrade, students of Faculty of Agriculture had the opportunity to participate in the project Summer practice and to gain knowledge of product development and production in the food industry through practical work with experts and employees of the company Desing.

During the “Open Days” organized by Desing doo, in cooperation with the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, Summer practice programme is presented to students. On this occasion they visited „Taste Centre – center for Innovation and the development of food products“ Desing , which is located in the premises of the NTP Belgrade where different phases of production and instruments were presented to them.

Mr. Miodrag Tomić, the founder of Design, pointed out that the number of registered students are proof that there is a need and interest of young people for research and development in the private sector.

Gordana Danilovic Grković, Acting Director of the Science and Technology Park Belgrade, said that STP Belgrade supports with great pleasure such initiatives that help students to gain experience in the private sector, bearing in mind that it can be a great incentive for young people, not only in terms of employment, but also start-up businesses. The fact that the students will spend the summer at the premises of STP and have the opportunity to acquire concrete and practical knowledge in a successful company such as Desing will contribute to stronger connection between the business and universities, which is one of the main objectives of STP Belgrade, said the acting director of STP Belgrade.
