This week, Serbian Tech Conference was held at Goldsmiths, University of London, marking an essential step in strengthening ties between the Serbian and UK tech ecosystems. Organized by the Serbian City Club in partnership with leading Serbian IT organizations, including Science Technology Park Belgrade (STP Belgrade), the event highlighted innovation, talent, and the potential of Serbia’s tech scene. It brought together members of London’s IT community, offering them a unique opportunity to learn more about ongoing initiatives and collaboration opportunities with the Serbian ecosystem.

Representatives of STP Belgrade, along with Vega IT, Strawberry Energy, ITBizDev, ICT Hub, Nordeus Foundation, and Serbian Entrepreneurs, showcased the strengths and potential of the Serbian tech community. Our Nevena Janković Borozan participated in one of the panels, presenting companies from the STP Belgrade community and support programs, including assistance for international companies and their R&D divisions looking to expand to Serbia.

A particularly valuable aspect of the event was the opportunity to connect with mentors from our network who operate in the UK market.

We look forward to further collaboration and new initiatives that will strengthen the ties between the two ecosystems and create more opportunities for Serbian tech companies.
