WebSummit Doha, the largest technology conference in the Middle East, once again confirmed its role this year, bringing together over 30,000 participants, 1,600 startups, and 900 investors from 127 countries.
In this context, the NTP Belgrade team, together with startups (Smart Part, My Flow, Marina Int, Protokol, Baby FM, Advanced Security Technologies, Cyber Parent, Spice ADS, and the Sokolus team) and partners from the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Center for Digital Transformation, participated in WebSummit.
Through activities focused on connecting founders with support, capital, and opportunities for new markets and clients, we are especially proud of the community startup MyFlow, which had the opportunity to present through a showcase pitch and significantly energize the startup atmosphere, as well as Baby FM, a Raising Stars alumnus.
According to the latest StartupGenome report, Qatar is positioned as a rapidly growing innovation ecosystem, with strong institutional support and a clear strategic orientation toward developing globally scalable technologies, making it a natural partner for international collaboration.
One of the key takeaways from the event highlights the need to further develop startups’ sales strategies in order to fully leverage opportunities in global markets.
In the startup world, internationalization is no longer optional; it is a key prerequisite for growth and sustainability. Connecting with global ecosystems provides access to knowledge, capital, markets, and strategic partnerships, while simultaneously enhancing the competitiveness and visibility of national innovation ecosystems.
