Science Technology Park Belgrade (STP Belgrade) and the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade signed yesterday an agreement on strengthening cooperation in the field of intellectual property rights and other areas of law relevant to innovation entrepreneurship development.

This will ensure additional support for innovative companies in legal aspects of their operations, while also building the capacities of STP Belgrade staff in this field. The cooperation will also enable the Faculty, whose teaching process will now draw on STP Belgrade’s practices, to further advance its scientific and teaching potential and to further develop and foster talents in the field of law that can contribute to the development of innovations and the innovation ecosystem.

In this context, the establishment and operation of a law clinic have been agreed upon, which will take place through visiting lectures and exercises held by STP Belgrade staff at the Faculty’s undergraduate, master, and doctoral studies regarding support to commercialization of innovation and greater involvement of students in tech entrepreneurship.

The agreement was signed at the dean’s office of the Faculty of Law by STP Belgrade Director Gordana Danilović Grković and the Dean of the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade, prof. Zoran Mirković, Ph.D.
