London O’Clock – Call to Startups for a Study Trip and Participation in London Tech Week

Startups – it’s London time!

Within its activities to support startups from Serbia on the way to internationalization and increasing global visibility, the Science Technology Park Belgrade invites startups to apply for participation in a study startup trip to London in June 2024.

Applications are open until April 8 at this LINK.

The UK is the leading startup hub in Europe with a tech ecosystem valued at almost 1 trillion dollars! Over 40,000 startups attract more funding, close more deals and achieve more exits than in any other country on the continent.

London O’Clock offer an opportunity for up to 3 startups from Serbia to, on their way and while planning their global expansion, have the first insight into and make the first steps in this dynamic market, understand its specifics, and with the acquired contacts and professional support identify challenges and opportunities, and strategically approach further business expansion.

What can startups expect on the London O’Clock study trip?

– Participation in the London Tech Week conference (which takes place this year from June 10 to June 14), the heart of the European technology scene, with the possibility of networking with experts, investors and other startups from the global startup community;

– Networking with the mentoring pool of STP Belgrade for whom London is the business base – from founders, representatives of the VC industry to experts in the business development segment;

– Mapping the specifics and potential of the UK market through professional support in preparation, and insight into business opportunities and compliance with the legal aspects of this fast-growing market;

– The possibility to approach potential partners, customers and investors at the international level.

The study startup trip will be organized in June 2024, during the London Tech Week conference. Travel expenses and registration fees for the conference will be covered for the selected startups.

The Science Technology Park Belgrade organizes this trip as part of the project “Technopark Serbia 2 – Boosting Export through Technoparks”, with the support of the Government of Switzerland.
