“How to Develop Technology Transfer Successfully” on September 12th at STP Belgrade – Proven Swiss Models from ETH and Technopark Zurich

On September 12th at 10 AM, the Science Technology Park Belgrade, in collaboration with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, is hosting a session dedicated to the development and best practices in technology transfer: “How to Develop Technology Transfer Successfully – Proven Swiss Models from ETH and Technopark Zurich.”

Through presentations by two prominent Swiss academic and innovation representatives, the focus will be establishing transparent technology transfer processes that contribute to the successful commercialization of research and collaboration between science and industry.

Lars Lünenburger, Technology Manager at ETH Zurich, will discuss how they have established a successful technology transfer process, the support provided to researchers, and mechanisms for industry collaboration. Ranked among the world’s top 10 universities, ETH Zurich stands out for its exceptional academic programs and efficient mechanism connecting researchers with industry through a clearly defined technology transfer process (43 spin-off companies were founded last year alone).

Matthias Höllinger, Team Lead for Foundation Affairs at Technopark Zurich, which brings together companies from various industries, clusters, universities, research institutes, startups, and major brands, will present their role in empowering technology transfer and share industry-focused mechanisms for technology transfer.

Registration is mandatory by Tuesday, September 10, at the link HERE.

The working language of the event is English.

This event is organized by the Science Technology Park Belgrade, with the support of the Swiss government, as part of the activities under the project Technopark Serbia 2—Boosting Exports Through Technoparks.
