The Science Technology Park Belgrade is launching the second cycle of the Build2Lead scale-up program, designed to enhance the managerial skills of founders and engineer team leaders in rapidly growing tech companies!

Who is the program for?
The program is intended for startup founders and leaders in tech companies with engineering or technical backgrounds, as well as engineers stepping into leadership roles or looking to improve their managerial skills to meet the demands of rapid growth and increasing business complexity in their organizations.
The fast growth of tech companies and startups requires engineers to excel in technical expertise and product development, lead teams effectively, and manage processes efficiently. Build2Lead is tailored to address these needs by deeply understanding participants’ managerial profiles, specialized training, and opportunities to exchange experiences with successful industry leaders.
Through a specially designed approach across three modules, Build2Lead will enable participants to master advanced delegation techniques, communicate effectively with diverse team profiles, and manage all aspects of people management—from candidate selection to talent development and building team member competencies.
Through Masterclass sessions, participants will connect directly with industry leaders and successful managers who will share their insights into professional growth and managerial capacity building. Each participant will also undergo individual profiling at the program’s start, analyzing their dominant managerial styles, which will be developed further throughout the program.
Individual profiling and group workshops will be conducted in collaboration with Adizes SEE Institute, a regional leader in corporate reorganization, business improvement project implementation, and managerial capacity development.
The program starts on October 1 and lasts for two months. Applications are open until September 25.
Who can apply?
Eligible companies must:
- Develop innovative products with ambitions for global expansion.
- Be Serbian-owned and generate revenue from the sale of innovative products.
Preference will be given to companies under 10 years old with up to 50 employees.

The Build2Lead program is implemented by the Science Technology Park Belgrade as part of its scale-up support services for startups and tech companies, with financial support from the EBRD through the Star Venture program in the Western Balkans (co-financed by Luxembourg through the EBRD Small Business Impact Fund and the EU – Enterprise Development and Innovation Facility for the Western Balkans, EDIF). The program is also supported through the “Technopark Serbia 2 – Boosting Exports Through Technoparks” project, supported by the Swiss Government.
