The Technology Fair in Belgrade took place from May 20 to 23, with the Science Technology Park Belgrade (STP Belgrade) community showcasing their technological innovations on the event’s second day.
Fair attendees were introduced to a range of cutting-edge solutions, including a platform for tokenization and crowdfunding in agriculture (Treesury), personalized workout software designed to improve employee focus (My Flow), an innovative x-ray inspection system for products on production lines (DiraTech), a comprehensive whole-genome test for dogs (Puppyprint Genetics), and a platform connecting investors with contractors in the solar energy sector (Solarlink).
Between startup pitch sessions, we highlighted the critical role of access to modern research and technological infrastructure in accelerating innovation. We shared success stories and resources from the Capital Innovation Point Serbia (CIPS) project, led by STP Belgrade. Representatives from project partners, Zoran Đorović from the Data Centre Kragujevac and Professor Bane Popadić from the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, spoke about how the strategic use of this infrastructure via the CIPS network can enhance the competitiveness of local companies.
At a workshop hosted by ETF Belgrade, an associated project partner, successful practices and collaboration mechanisms between academia and industry were showcased, featuring examples from robotics and AI.
This year’s Technology Fair once again brought together enthusiasts driving the development of modern technological solutions and provided a valuable opportunity for networking and exchanging ideas with representatives from innovation centres and other science and technology parks across Serbia.
