Nenad Mijatović, an expert in internationalization and fundraising, shared practical tips yesterday at the Meet&Greet event in STP Belgrade on building a successful startup, including approaches to entering new markets and securing investments for existing startup companies.
This inspiring fireside chat, which sparked numerous questions from participants, was part of the mentoring process within the Entrepreneurial Transformation course. Students started the course with an online self-study program on innovation-driven entrepreneurship, and the insights and advice from the fireside chat further empowered them to advance their projects.
The course curriculum, enriched with examples from STP Belgrade’s innovation community, was developed under the HMI2MARKET project with support from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology – EIT HEI.
The event took place in a dynamic and open atmosphere, perfect for exchanging ideas, inspiring conversations, and networking.
An additional boost for students considering launching their own startups, or for existing startups looking to test prototypes or finalize hardware production, came from a short Inno-Lab Demo held on the same day, showcasing this part of the infrastructure support available at STP Belgrade.
