Collaboration between the French and Serbian innovation ecosystems continues into 2026, through a shared commitment to advancing science, technology, and innovation 🇫🇷 🇷🇸.

On behalf of the French Embassy in Serbia, Lydia Foster, Emina Arnaut, and Julie Naureils attended a strategic meeting with the leadership of the Belgrade Science and Technology Park (STP Belgrade), during which experiences were exchanged and opportunities to further strengthen cooperation with French institutions and partners were discussed.

A particular value of this collaboration lies in creating tangible opportunities for startups within the STP Belgrade community, by providing access to relevant international contacts and markets. In this context, the following innovative ideas were presented:

Aleksandar Petrović, representing Treesury, is developing a platform for asset tokenization and crowdfunding in agriculture. The platform aims to give farmers quick and easy access to capital for financing and scaling production, while providing investors with easier entry into this sector. A notable feature is the secondary market for tokenized assets, which provides additional liquidity in a traditionally illiquid sector.

Sreten Komlenović, DIRATECH Intelligent X-Ray Inspection Technology, is developing an innovative solution for X-ray product inspection on production lines, using a combination of standard image processing methods and deep learning models. This technology improves quality control processes and delivers comprehensive and reliable results with very high accuracy.

Tanja Lazarević, MyFlow, is developing a software solution that enables personalized and optimized exercise, positively impacting employees’ psychophysical well-being and improving focus in the workplace.

One of the key strategic activities to be implemented in partnership between the Belgrade Science and Technology Park and the Mission France initiative is a support program for Serbian startups in their mission to explore and enter new international markets.
