Following the recent visit of representatives from the University of Cambridge to Science Technology Park Belgrade, the collaboration continued through the participation of an STP Belgrade representative in the Innovation Policy Ignition Programme at the University of Cambridge.

The programme brings together representatives of innovation ecosystems from different countries with the aim of exchanging knowledge on innovation policy development, research commercialization, and support for technology entrepreneurship.

During the programme, discussions focused on the development of spin-out companies through Cambridge Enterprise, strengthening entrepreneurial culture among researchers and students, as well as models for connecting universities, startups, corporations, and investors.

Participants also had the opportunity to visit Cambridge Biomedical Campus and Cambridge Science Park, two key locations within one of Europe’s most successful innovation ecosystems.

The exchange of experiences with the University of Cambridge contributes to the further development of Serbia’s innovation system and strengthens the role of Science Technology Park Belgrade in connecting science, innovation, and industry.
