Startup Smartsy, an alumnus of the Raising Starts program at the Science Technology Park Belgrade, has secured a €500,000 investment and announced its expansion into the European market.

Smartsy develops smart dog care cabins for public spaces, enabling pet owners to safely leave their dogs while handling everyday tasks. The cabins are equipped with UV sterilization, ventilation, heating, a camera, and a companion app that integrates all functionalities into a seamless user experience.

The development of the first prototype was accelerated through the Raising Starts program, along with additional support for intellectual property protection. Today, Smartsy has already secured agreements with shopping centers in Serbia, while the next steps are focused on expanding to European markets, including Vienna.

This investment represents yet another confirmation of the importance of supporting innovation and the potential of startups growing within the Science Technology Park Belgrade ecosystem.
