How can a research idea become an innovation with commercial potential?

At the invitation of the Institute for Biological Research “Siniša Stanković” (IBISS), Anđela Terzić from the Science Technology Park Belgrade delivered a lecture as part of the training program “From Idea to Innovation: Regulatory Framework, Patent Protection and Technology Transfer”, organized through the activities of the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) team and the STRIMHealth project.

During the session, participants had the opportunity to learn about the technology transfer process, intellectual property protection mechanisms, and the ways in which research results can be transformed into innovations and startup ventures with market potential.

Special attention was given to the practical steps researchers can take to identify, develop and valorize the innovation potential of their research, as well as to the support mechanisms available for innovation development in Serbia.
