Developing an innovative idea does not end with creating a good product – legal aspects of doing business and adequate intellectual property protection are equally important. These are also areas that startup teams often overlook or do not pay enough attention to during the early stages of development.

At today’s Raising Starts workshop, Daniela Zlatić Šutić from the Intellectual Property Office and representatives of the Rizvanović Law Office introduced the teams to key legal topics – from protecting innovations and intellectual property to the most important legal steps every startup should take as it develops its business.

In addition to the workshop, the teams will soon have the opportunity to take part in individual 1:1 consultations and receive practical guidance tailored to their ideas, needs and businesses.

The next Raising Starts workshop will be held in person at the Science Technology Park Belgrade.

The Raising Starts programme is implemented within the project “Technopark Serbia 3 – Innovate Forward”, implemented by Science Technology Park Belgrade with the support of the Government of Switzerland and the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO).
