Science Technology Park Belgrade welcomed Prof. Branimir Ljubić, MD, PhD, from Rutgers University, who delivered a lecture entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Medicine: Revolutionary Transformation of Medicine, Diagnostics, Therapy and Clinical Decision Support.”

The lecture explored the growing application of artificial intelligence across modern medicine – from diagnostics and medical imaging to personalized medicine and the development of new therapies and drugs. Prof. Ljubić also presented concrete examples of AI-related research and applications at Rutgers University.

The discussion with participants covered a broad range of topics related to the future role of AI in healthcare, including its use in the education of future physicians, the development of medical startups, career opportunities in MedTech and AI, the selection of appropriate models and algorithms, as well as the opportunities and limitations of AI in scientific research.

The lecture provided an opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences and gain a deeper understanding of how artificial intelligence is already transforming medicine and creating new possibilities for research, technology and innovation.
