Comtrade System Integration Horizons 2026 brought together technology and business leaders to discuss AI adoption and opportunities for connecting enterprise systems with startup innovation

Science Technology Park Belgrade participated in the Comtrade System Integration Horizons 2026 conference, which brought together representatives of the technology and business sectors to exchange insights on digital transformation, artificial intelligence and innovation.

During a panel discussion focused on the implementation of artificial intelligence, Science Technology Park Belgrade Director Prof. Dr. Marija Milić highlighted the importance of starting with a clearly defined business problem rather than with the technology itself. Successful AI implementation requires a clearly defined use case, high-quality and accessible data, as well as an appropriate governance framework.

A key part of the conference was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Science Technology Park Belgrade and Comtrade System Integration. The Memorandum provides a framework for further connecting enterprise systems with innovative technology solutions developed by startups from the STP Belgrade community.

The cooperation creates opportunities for greater knowledge exchange, stronger connections between companies and the development of concrete opportunities for applying innovation in business environments.

Participation in the conference provided another opportunity for an open discussion about the solutions being developed by Serbian startups and the new opportunities for applying these innovations across the corporate and wider business sector.
