The national tournament FIRST Lego League “Animal Allies” was held in the Science Technology Park Belgrade. 16 teams from all over Serbia competes in programming Lego robots and autonomous teamwork, with their research projects on the subject of cooperation between humans and animals.

FIRST Lego League is an international program that has existed since 1998 and was designed by LEGO Education and the American Foundation FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) to children aged 9-16 years old interested in a career in scientific and technological fields. At the global level, this year the program involves about 250,000 children and Serbia is the 86th country joining the program.

Program in Serbia is organized by the Association Edulab, whose implementation was supported by the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications, Science Technology Park Belgrade, Creative Center, Prometheus Technologies d.o.o. and Lego Club Skockani.

Science Technology Park Belgrade has developed into a new technology heart of the city, gathering 44 innovative companies with products/services attractive on the global market, where the initiatives related to the encouragement of entrepreneurship and creative work with young among the most important activities in everyday functioning.
