Mr. Smits, Director-General of the Directorate for Research and Innovation (RTD) of the European Commission, visited the STP accompanied by representatives of the EU Delegation in Serbia and the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development.

The presentation of the results and further plans was followed by a tour and visit to Digital Works, Desing R & D Center and NovelIC.

Mr. Smits has expressed satisfaction with the enthusiasm and innovation of companies NTP and pointed out the importance of EU support to SMEs through the Horizon 2020. It also announced changes to the program that will H2020 in its portfolio include disruptive innovations (disruptive innovation).
