A two-day international conference of the third mission of the university in Serbia within the IF4TM project, funded by the Erasmus+ EU program, openеd today at Sciencе Technology Park Belgrade.
The focus of the conference is on the technological transfer and innovation, continuous education for improving the capacity of research and universities and greater involvement and contribution to the needs of entrepreneurship.
Sasa Lazović, assistant minister of Science and Technology Development, welcomed the participants at the opening ceremony and pointed out that the Serbia Government is committed to developing the institutional framework and providing legal and infrastructural conditions for the implementation of the third mission of the university in Serbia.
Marija Mirković welcomed the participants on behalf of NTP Belgrade and stressed the importance of cooperation between the education system and the economy in strengthening the capacities of innovations. She said that this conference and NTP Belgrade are both aimed at promoting knowledge sharing, in line with technological developments and the growing need to develop an economy based on innovations, in which universities will play a major role.
Coordinator of IF4ТМ proјеct, prof. dr Vesna Mandic, mentioned the results of the project in the past 3 years, noting that IF4TM was declared as one of the TOP20 projects financed under the Erasmus + program of the EU.
