Application for the local IMAGINE IF competition of health-tech startups in Serbia are now open. The IMAGINE IF! Accelerator is organized in Serbia for the first time ever thanks to the  successful partnership between the Innovation Forum Cambridge, Science Technology Park Belgrade (platinum partner) and Health Tech LAB (silver partner).

IMAGINE IF! is a global competition and pre-acceleration program that provides early-stage science startups with extensive opportunities: mentorship, the potential to secure non-dilutive capital, free advice from leading professional service companies and rapid networking across the Innovation Forum platform with 10,000 innovators.

Competition focuses on healthcare startups, including new or different types of therapies, devices, diagnostics, platform technology, digital health intelligence, as well as other topics related to health, pharmacology and computer science. Deadline for applications is January 15th, 2019.

After that, up to 10 best startups will be selected to pass the mentoring program and fight for the title of the local winner. The Belgrade winning team will receive EUR 2,000 of funding,  as well as the opportunity to participate in the global IMAGINE IF competition in London, where they’ll fight for $ 10.000. Local winner will also have the opportunity to use laboratory space in one of the global capitals of Imagine IF! competitions, including Belgrade, for six months.

The local final in Belgrade will be held on March 7, 2019 at Science Technology Park. All startups will be evaluated based on the business plan, the potential of the product or service, the innovation, the scientific basis and the organization of the team.
