The Science Technology Park Belgrade and Colosseum, the international sports tech innovation group based in Tel Aviv, are launching the first program dedicated to supporting start-ups driving innovation in sports in Serbia.

Colosseum Sports Tech Serbia aims to connect the sports community with innovators and entrepreneurs developing disruptive technologies and solutions to improve the sports experience. It gives startups access to sports organizations, international exposure and insights into the trends that shape the global sports industry.

Colosseum will bring the know-how and expertise of the Israeli Sports Tech ecosystem to Serbia, already recognized as a successful sports nation with great knowledge in technology development. Colosseum Sports Tech Serbia program will capitalize on this potential to encourage the expansion of the Serbian start-up ecosystem into the sports industry, learning from the successful international growth experience of hundreds of Israeli sports tech-related startups.

Serbia has a chance to position itself as one of the leaders in the development and application of sport-tech solutions globally, and this program is designed to help achieve this ambition.

The start of the Colosseum Sports Tech Serbia is scheduled for May 2019.
