Farmfit the best team – Summer student startup camp ParkUP! finished at STP Belgrade

Third ParkUP! student startup camp in Science Technology Park in Belgrade was finished yesterday by the DemoDay event, during which 11 teams presented their innovative ideas. According to the decision of the expert jury, the best among them was the Farmfit team. Their innovative solution is to modernize farming and solve the lack of protection and prevention of animal diseases and health!

The winning team will get support from STP Belgrade in further development of their ideas for three months, they won participation at the startup conference in Sarajevo, while Flixbus provided free return tickets.

During summer camp at STP Belgrade (10-16.7), around 70 students went through 15 interactive lectures and workshops on the formation of a successful startup: from defining problems, target groups and solutions based on the Lean Startup methodology, through the development of presentation skills, public appearances, ways of earning, protection of intellectual property… By participating in the program, students also had the opportunity to meet with entrepreneurs, startup founders and mentors who have shared their own experience and advice for personal and professional development.

Gordana Danilović Grković, acting director of STP Belgrade, awarded certificates on successfully completed training to all participants of the camp, congratulating them on dedication, enthusiasm and great ideas they showed. As she said, she is convinced that a large number of teams will continue to develop their innovative ideas, inviting them not to give up their desire to change the world.

STP Belgrade was organized startup camp ParkUP! with the support of Swiss Government. Partners on the project were also the Business-Technology Incubator of the Technical Faculties in Belgrade, UNICEF, Center for Career Development UB. Partners of the program were also companies: Knjaz Miloš, Flixbus, Nestle, RobRoy1884 and Zdrawo Slatko.

The next student startup camp ParkUP! at STP Belgrade is scheduled for February 2020.
