Science Technology Park Belgrade presented opportunities, the call application procedure as well as research proposals within OIS-AIR PoC Call at the R2B matchmaking presentation that was held within Serbian Robotics Innovation Day on September 16th. The event at STP Belgrade were attended by university and SMEs representatives.

The objective of the OIS-AIR Proof of Concept Call, which is funded by the OIS-AIR project (Interreg Adrion EU Program), is to provide financial support to the successful conversion of good research into good business. In particular, the PoC Call supports the 10 best innovative projects in the field of transport and mobility, energy and environment, agro-bioeconomy to be jointly developed by research institutes and SMEs by means of innovation vouchers worth 18.500 EUR each.

As Natasa Cirović from STP Belgrade, which is one of the project’s partners, explained, researchers based in Adrion-Ionian region already proposed their technologies at INNOVAIR Platform, within the first PoC Call for Ideas phase. In total, 100 research proposals have been collected, and Ćirović presented some of them. Now, SMEs are invited to get acquainted with published research proposals which are presented on INNOVAIR Platform. The following step is the matching and the consequent collection of expressions of interest for the further development of the candidate technologies through the joint applied research project (Call for Project).

Ćirović also presented application procedure pointing out that beneficiary of the voucher is research centre/university Call. The Call for Projects will be opened until September 30th.

Transnational applications to PoC Call will be positively evaluated to foster innovation network across borders in Adriatic Ionian area.
