36th IASP Annual World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation is taking place from 24-27 September in Nantes. The event, organized by the International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovations (IASP), brought together experts from science and technology parks and other areas of innovation, technology-based incubators, academia, the public sector and business to discuss and debate in depth the latest trends in our industry’s increasingly complex structures for professional innovation support.
Participants include representatives from more than 70 countries. On behalf of Science Technology Park Belgrade, who has been an IASP’s member since 2017, the conference is attended by Gordana Danilovic Grkovic, acting director of STP Belgrade and Jelena Petrović, head of business development.
The theme of IASP Nantes is “The 4th Industrial Revolution: areas of innovation and science parks as key boosters for a successful transition”. Sessions are focus on sharing good practices and debating the huge impact that this latest Industrial Revolution and its technologies is having on the science park industry and the ways in which they may have to change their facilities, structure and infrastructure to continue supporting their resident companies.
