Colosseum Sports Tech Serbia, a unique program for sports-tech startups, will be organized for the second time thanks to the successful partnership between the Science Technology Park Belgrade and Colosseum Sport – leading sports tech organization in Israel.

Colosseum Sports Tech Serbia is a unique program aimed to boost innovation in sport by connecting all the relevant players in the sports tech industry and providing support to early-stage start-ups. Once again, Colosseum Bootcamp will provide selected sports-tech teams with knowledge, skills and connections to scale up their innovative business ideas.

The first batch of sport-tech startups underwent Colosseum Bootcamp in June 2019, while the best one among them was awarded on Demo Day in late October.

Colosseum Bootcamp 2020 will be preceded by a series of meetups which will raise awareness and drive discussion on sports tech as a fairly new industry. Stay tuned!

In the next phase it will provide support for startup teams on ideation stage who will be attending lean startup workshops and counseling sessions in order to foster their development to pre-acceleration level. Bootcamp will be focused on entrepreneurship in sport, ongoing trends in sports technology and building ideas from scratch. After Demo Day the winner of the program will be awarded with study trip to Israel and pre-acceleration program in STP Belgrade.

Serbia is already recognized as a sports nation with valuable knowledge in technological development also. Therefore, Colosseum Sports Tech Serbia will encourage fulfilment of this potential in order to expand sports ecosystem in Serbia. By supporting start-ups in this area, Serbia has a chance to position itself as one of the leaders in development and implementation of sports tech solutions globally.
