At the invitation of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization), STP Belgrade last week presented itself as a success story at the Regional Arab Meeting on Intellectual Property, Innovation Incubators and Techno Parks in Cairo.

The online conference was jointly organized by the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and the League of Arab States (LAS). Bearing in the mind such a respected audience, we were honored to share the experiences of our team, from the beginning of the development of the first technological incubator to the successful development of STP Belgrade, in support of the establishment and development of more than 150 new startup companies, and how great an impact this has on the development of the innovation ecosystem of Serbia.

The particular interest was aroused by the detailed presentation of the Raising Starts program, the first pre-seed accelerator in Serbia, implemented by STP Belgrade in cooperation with STP Niš and STP Čačak, with the support of the Government of Switzerland, supporting the growth of new startup companies in order to initiate the development of the region based on innovations.
