Science Technology Park Belgrade hosted the third day of the international conference entitled “Climate Change and Student Entrepreneurship: From Academia to Policy “, which the University of Belgrade hosts as a member of Circle U. European University Alliance.
One of the leading academic events in Europe this year was held from 15 to 17 May at the University of Belgrade, the only Southeast European university admitted to this prestigious alliance.
The conference held at the University was attended by participants from universities and academic institutions from 15 countries. Today, they also visited STP Belgrade. On the third day of the conference, STP Belgrade introduced the participants to the services and programmes of support to innovative companies provided by Serbia’s first science technology park. The presentation highlighted the student startup camp ParkUP! and Serbia’s first pre-seed accelerator Raising Starts. Other topics addressed include details of activities and cooperation with the University to raise awareness of students’ entrepreneurship among university students and the Business Technology Incubator of Technical Faculties in Belgrade (BITF).
The conference also featured lectures on the subject of health and innovation, as well as a presentation of the Circle U. Prizes for Interdisciplinary Research (ICUP).
