We have gathered representatives of regional innovation startup centers (RISCs) and innovation incubators in scientific and research organizations (SROs) for workshops that will contribute to strengthening their capacities to provide continuous and organized support to local startup teams and companies.

In the next three days, representatives of 5 RISCs from Užice, Valjevo, Svilajnac, Kragujevac and Stara Pazova, as well as of SRO incubators from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Biology, will attend workshops at STP Belgrade through Lean lectures, training and practical work, identify key challenges in their work, define their goals, mission and vision.

Through the lectures and by working with experts, they will learn more about intellectual property protection, incentive measures for startups, as well as about startup ecosystems and trends around the world.

This activity is implemented by STP Belgrade with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation and the Innovation Fund within the “Capacity Building Program of Regional Innovation Startup Centers in Cooperation with Science Technology Parks” and the “Program for the Formation and Development of Innovation Incubators in Scientific and Research Organizations (SROs) in the Republic of Serbia”.

The ultimate goal is their inclusion in the integrated system of support for innovation and support for local startup teams in growth and development.
