Representatives of Science Technology Park Belgrade participated in a series of workshops held in Skopje, focused on strengthening capacities and fostering collaboration among newly established European Digital Innovation Hubs (EDIHs), with the support of EU4Digital and GIZ.

During the event, Science Technology Park Belgrade presented Capital Innovation Point Serbia (CIPS), the Serbian consortium within the EDIH network, established to support digital transformation and technological advancement of startups, SMEs, and public sector organizations.

Through the Capital Innovation Point Serbia project, supported by the European Union, Serbia will:

• provide startups, SMEs, and public institutions with access to advanced digital technologies,
• strengthen digital skills through training and knowledge exchange,
• enable testing and piloting of innovative solutions in real-world environments,
• further connect the Western Balkans with the EU Digital Single Market.

The gathering also marked the first step toward formalizing regional cooperation through the signing of a joint Memorandum of Cooperation among countries in the region.
