Panel “CIPS Connect: Next-Gen Tech” held at Biotech Future Forum 2025

As part of Biotech Future Forum 2025, the partners of the Capital Innovation Point Serbia (CIPS) project consortium — Science Technology Park Belgrade, NALED, DCT – Data Cloud Technology, Faculty of Technical Sciences at the University of Novi Sad, Science Technology Park Novi Sad, and the Institute of Physics — discussed key issues for the development of the domestic innovation ecosystem. Topics ranged from how local tech companies can leverage artificial intelligence and digital technologies to integrate into global value chains, to the role of projects like CIPS in fostering innovation and economic growth, as well as the most common mistakes when applying for EU funds and advice on how to avoid them.

During the “CIPS Connect: Next-Gen Tech” panel, participants had the opportunity to learn about the various types of support available to startups, small and medium enterprises, and public institutions within the innovation ecosystem — regardless of their location or sector.

It was concluded that collaboration between science, industry, and technology forms the foundation of sustainable innovation, while digital transformation remains a key factor in strengthening the global competitiveness of the domestic economy.
