Representatives of Science Technology Park Belgrade participated in the panel discussion “Strategies for Successful Financing of Environmental Protection Projects,” held during the second day of the seminar “Noise and Air Pollution – Challenges of the Urban Environment,” organized by member company Dirigent Acoustics in cooperation with Science Technology Park Belgrade.

The event also served as an opportunity to announce upcoming activities dedicated to startups and SMEs, aimed at improving access to various funding sources. These activities are planned for next year within the framework of the Capital Innovation Point Serbia (CIPS) project.

Air pollution and increasing acoustic stress are no longer just technical or коммунal issues. They directly impact public health, quality of life, investment attractiveness, and the overall sustainability of urban development.

That is why the key question is not only how pollution is measured, but also how solutions are financed. This was the central topic of the panel discussion, with a strong emphasis on encouraging local governments to actively participate in projects that can deliver concrete environmental and public health improvements.
