The eighth generation of the ParkUP Student Startup Programme has successfully completed a four-day bootcamp at Science Technology Park Belgrade.

Out of 161 applications, 56 participants were selected and divided into 10 multidisciplinary teams to work on developing their startup ideas. The participants developed solutions across five areas: AgTech and food production, green technologies, creative industries, artificial intelligence and smart systems, and MedTech.

Although many of the participants had not known each other before the programme, over the course of four days they combined their different skills and experiences and worked together on defining problems, developing value propositions, analysing the market and competition, and validating their solutions through interviews with potential users.

With the support of 16 mentors – professors, experts from various fields and startup founders – the teams further developed their ideas and prepared for the final Demo Day, where they presented their solutions to an expert jury.

The bootcamp was not only focused on lectures, workshops and developing startup ideas, but also provided an opportunity for participants to connect and strengthen their team spirit. Through Games & Chill and a drama workshop, participants had the chance to get to know each other better, explore their creativity and further strengthen collaboration within their teams.

The new generation of young innovators has successfully taken its first steps in developing their startup ideas, with further work and development of their solutions ahead.

The ParkUP Student Startup Camp is implemented by Science Technology Park Belgrade with the support of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development and Innovation.
