Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia in a technical mandate, Prof. Dr Đuro Macut, visited Science Technology Park Belgrade together with Minister of Science, Technological Development and Innovation Bela Balint.
During the visit, companies operating within STP Belgrade presented the innovative projects and solutions they are developing, as well as examples of how advanced technologies are being applied across different fields.
Prime Minister Macut described Science Technology Park Belgrade as “the development heart of science in the capital”, noting that 128 companies are currently active within the Park, while more than 260 companies have been part of its development to date.
He emphasized that STP Belgrade brings together numerous innovative companies from different sectors and demonstrates how scientific knowledge can be successfully translated into practical solutions.
According to Macut, science and technology parks across Serbia show that the country has both the expertise and the people capable of implementing a wide range of innovation projects, while their work attracts significant interest both in Serbia and among international partners and users.
“Connections through science and technology parks should become even stronger. I strongly support the work of these parks and hope that we will soon see many more new initiatives,” Prof. Dr Macut said.
