Representatives of the Korean KOTRA, an agency for trade and investment promotion, visited Science Technology Park Belgrade today, as a step towards getting to know and connecting with the local innovation ecosystem, startups and growing companies, and opportunities for cooperation. The guests were especially introduced to the services and support that STP Belgrade offers to foreign innovative companies that intend to open companies or research and development centres and departments in Serbia, primarily in terms of learning about business conditions, networking (with potential partners, talents, etc.), and facilitating adjustment. Member companies PirateArt, UrbiGo and NOVELIC presented their innovations in the STP community to the Korean guests and made new contacts in this market.

The Korean delegation was led by Director General Kisang Hwang, who will give a presentation at a webinar organized by the Government of the Republic of Serbia “Serbia as a business and investment destination” and invite Korean companies to invest in the ICT sector in Serbia and open R&D centres.

KOTRA has 127 offices in 87 countries around the world and works to establish business, economic, and partnership ties, actively promoting trade, joint projects and exchange of information among countries.
