Twelve teams presented their innovative ideas in the finals of Kampino, the second startup bootcamp in Western Serbia held by Science Technology Park Čačak in cooperation with Science Technology Park Belgrade, with support from the Swiss Government through the project “Technopark Serbia 2 – Boosting Exports through Technoparks”.

Over the course of the three-day bootcamp (12-14 September), a total of 51 participants from twelve Serbian cities and municipalities demonstrated full commitment and desire to step into the world of startups and innovation. As a result of their dedicated work and learning, with support and assistance from the lecturers, the teams went through a number of lectures on innovative business development and worked to develop their innovative ideas in the fields of green technology, medicine, gaming, food/agriculture and sports.

The STP Belgrade team and the Business Technology Incubator of Technical Faculties Belgrade (BITF) supported the bootcamp by transplanting the model of the student startup camp ParkUP!  and delivered lectures on the Lean Startup methodology, business model development, market research, engaging with potential buyers and better defining and understanding of early adopters.

On the last day of the bootcamp, the teams presented their solutions, the best among equals being CollabCare, a team whose platform for specialist physicians supports collaboration among physicians and more efficient, faster and more precise diagnosing.
