Earlier this week, we had the pleasure to be a host to the high-level delegation of the Swiss State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO) and to additionally confirm and strengthen their long-standing partnership with STP Belgrade.

Monica Rubiolo, Head of Trade Promotion, and Dominik Abry, Program Manager, from SECO visited STP Belgrade and it was an honor to present our community and the amazing results and activities of the Technopark Serbia 2 project and the Raising Starts program.

During the visit, the delegation met with several companies from the STP Belgrade community and learned about their innovative products: Desing, TERMOVENT, UrbiGrow, Phytonet, as well as with some of the startups supported through the Raising Starts program: Collabwriting, Bohemian Pulp, SOTER Robotics. They also had the opportunity to attend a group workshop on mentoring and meet some of the mentors who work with startups within the Raising Starts accelerator.

Together with the delegation from SECO, there were also representatives of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Belgrade and the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property.

We are grateful for the invaluable support of our Swiss partners and look forward to future joint activities to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Serbia.
