The title of the winner of the National Final Competition for Best Student Ideas went to the team ElektričariG3, from University of Novi Sad for the idea “Smart walk”- smart carpet that turns the mechanical energy of human walk into electricity. Competition was held today in the Science Technology Park Belgrade.
The second place was taken by Alfa and Omega Team from the State University of Novi Pazar for their rescue device and the third place went to the team Fantastična četvorka from the University of Kragujevac, with the idea of panels with cans for energy collection and space heating.
Ten best teams from local competitions held on seven Serbian higher education institutions participated at the National Finals. Beside the winners, also participated: Biznis tim, Ekof tajgers, Green messenger, KSE, Rentijeri, SuperEdukatori i Zoom.
The ideas were presented in the form of seven-minute pitch presentations, after which the team members had to answer to the questions of the jury during the next three minutes. The jury members were: Vesna Mandic, University of Kragujevac, prof dr Goran Stojanovic, University of Novi Sad, Danica Micanovic from Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Milos Došen owner Tokmak konsalting and Daniela Zlatić Zutić from The Intellectual Property Office.
The reward for the best team was 150.000 RSD provided by State University of Kragujevac and SBB, second prize of 120.000 RSD was provided by University of Novi Sad, Belgrade and Niš, while third award of 80.000 RSD was provided by the State University of Novi Pazar na Metropoliten University.
The competition for the best student idea was held within the Erasmus+ project IF4TM, in which one of the partners is the Business Technology Incubator of the Technical Faculties in Belgrade.
