The University of Belgrade, as the partner on the project “Blue Growth Smart Adriatic Ionian S3“ – BlueAir” organized a working meeting with the Ministry of Science, Technology Development and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia, on December 26. 2022. The meeting gathered representatives of the academic community, business, public administration, and civil sector, where the solutions for smart specialization in the field of the sustainable blue economy. were identified. STP Belgrade presented the results of the OISAIR project, implemented within the Interreg Adrion program in the period 2018-2020.
This event was preceded by the participation of the University of Belgrade in regional and international cross-fertilization workshops where the challenges and opportunities for strengthening regional and macro-regional cooperation in this area were mapped, (more info in the White paper on regional and cross-regional challenges and opportunities).
Through the networking and exchange of knowledge of those dealing with or affected by identified challenges and opportunities on the one hand (so-called owners of challenges and opportunities), and on the other hand, those who develop technological or social innovations (so-called solution providers), solutions with trans-regional impact are mapped that will contribute to defining a common, macro-regional smart specialization policy (S3) and aligning local initiatives with the EUSAIR strategy through coordinated Access.
Science Technology Park Belgrade is an associate partner on the BlueAir project funded by the Interreg Adrion program in the period 2020-2023.
