Collabwriting,  a member of the STP Belgrade community and alumnus of our Raising Starts program, has won an 880,000 euro investment prize as the best Eastern European startup, in the competition segment of the How to Web Conference held in Bucharest.

The conference, held on 4 and 5 October, aimed at encouraging cooperation and knowledge sharing between startups and venture investors, focusing on the latest developments in the web industry.

The conference was founded by Bogdan Iordache, who also launched the 20 million euro worth Underline Ventures fund, which focuses on fast-growing startups in Eastern and Southeast Europe. Other investment funds, including Credo Ventures, SMOK Ventures, Fiedler Capital, Startup Wise Guys,  Fortech Investments, and SeedBlink, also joined to support the competition and come up with the highest investment prize in the region.

Collabwriting develops the eponymous collaboration platform for content creators, with an innovative multi-browser extension that enables users to comment on content anywhere on the web, delegate tasks and organize useful resources for their team. This reinvents how teams organize their research process, integrating research, communication, and database creation in a single solution, which makes the platform unique. All pieces of information that used to remain in e-mails now have their place, context, and clear purpose.
